thread mode start

There are a few comments / responses / seeds started for the WritingInThreadModeExercise. Amanda and Mallory started up in WhyAreWikisSoUgly, and Grant gave his start on the WideOpenSpaces page. Bonus points for the three starters!

It's easiest to start on the WideOpenSpaces page, scrolling to the bottom and tailoring a response to Lamb as a way to get things moving. In your response, you can create new topics, to include existing topics.

Alternatively, start in one of the links on the WideOpenSpaces page, if that seems more appropriate.

Find out who's posting where by using the RecentChanges at the top of every page.

Don't feel that because a topic's been written about that it's complete. It isn't on a wiki. Add more - an alternative take, an implication, an example, a counter-example, ... Eventually these alternatives are refactored into the document, enriching the topic and the wiki.

Check in often over the weekend, and we'll see everyone f2f on Monday.
