That's a blogger who respects both the blogger she's linking to and her readers, who are up for such density of work. Jess is writing full-blown hypertext: 3D writing that invites readers to peruse as the writer has perused it. Nice. Even more appropriate: Jenny D's blog is just as dense.
Thing the second: Jess mentioned in class today that her look at The Blue Book of Grammar and Punctuation blog got a reply from the owner, Jane Straus. Looks like Strauss maintains the blog to support the online edition of her book - a role that authors are finding themselves in more and more, and a role you're preparing for now. It's part content writing, part micro-marketing, and all work. You give to receive. On related notes, see
